asterisk 1.8 not working?
I've installed asterisk 1.8 on ubuntu server 12.01
Everything worked ok till a few days ago. I can't register any client to the server. I've checked the sip messaged with wireshark and from what I've seen the server is not responding to the client.
On the server side I've checked for port 5060 to be opened.
Can someone please help me with some ideas? What to do now? When I'm trying to edit the sip.connf file I get an error saying :E212 cannot open file from writing (cannot write viminfo file /root/viminfo!). I also can t delete viminfo case it seem to be read only file. I want to specify that I am logged in as a root.
